243 wssm

Has anyone ever seen any 243 wssm barrels around ? Or would it be easier to have a 243 barrel re-chambered to the wssm. ?

Just sold a Model 70 and have brass, dies and bullets. And I really like the caliber.

Just bought some Model 200's from Academy, so looking to add some barrels.

a 6mm br would be the easiest to rechamber, and I like the 243 wssm and i have it in a Stealth II

Best place to buy a 6BR ? Any hints on that?


And then a good place to do the re-chambering for me. I have a 243 now that I probably will try to re-chamber to save cost til I make sure it all works like I want.

I'm guessing sinman has you covered on that. I have one of his 6br barrels and coudn't be happier. Send him a pm and work out some details. You won't be disappointed. ;)

Is there any problem using a small shank action on this build? From my reading on here, I do not think there is a problem with it.

Over on wssmzone.com , they are saying to use a large shank for this build.
