Hello all,
I've been lurking here a while and decided to take the plunge and join.
I have to admit I have a problem--I have 4 Savages and the collection seems to be growing. :p
First project was a Stevens 200 in 7-08. I restocked it to a Boyd's laminate and installed a new trigger. I've been thinking about pillar and glass bedding it.
The next project was another Stevens 200. I rechambered it to .257 Roberts--man I love that gun! It got a new trigger and a Boyd's walnut stock.
The current project is another Stevens, rechambering to .260 Rem. I have a new Boyd's laminate stock for it, but am going to experiment with bedding on the tupperware stock as a guinea pig before I try it for real on the new laminate stock. I plan to pillar and glass bed it.
The fourth project will be for a Savage I just bought on gunbroker. It will get a new stock and trigger, but I haven't decided what to chamber it in. Maybe .300 Savage or maybe .358 Win.
Just wanted to say hello and tell you I'm looking forward to participating in the forum here.
