Hi all
I'm new to owning a Savage and trying to figure out what scope mount/ base fit the f-class 6br action?
Thanks

IT will use a standard Savage short action base for a round/round reciever. The older actions were round up front and flat on the rear so as long as it fits a short action and is for the round reciever you should be good. Alot of people on here use Ken Farrell and EGW. There are more out there but they seem to be two of the more popular ones.

Most of the usual brand names make either 1 pc or 2 pc mounts for the short action Savage. Plus, most make them in 0 moa, and 20 moa bases. Give a thought to what distances you're planning on shooting, and how much elevation adjustment your selected scope has in it. That will help you determine which base you want to go with.

I have a Warne 0 moa base on one rifle, and a Warne 20 moa base on my 12F.
