From GA. My first rifle was a 340 Savage in .22 Hornet many years ago. Didn't belong to me, it was a loner. Recently, I bought another one with the side-mounted scope mounts. Terrible trigger, but it'll shoot less than an inch if I really concentrate.
As of now, I have the 340, two Savage 99s in 300, and a new Savage .22 Hornet, don't know the model but it's a great shooter. All nice guns, except the 340 which is ugly but a good shooter, none the less. My 99s have tang sights.
As you can tell, I'm a big fan of the .22 Hornet.
