Bad idea to go straight to a hi load from someone. M10? All rifles are different. I have a pet load for my 10T with a 24 inch barrel but not sure on your rifles specs. Always work up your own loads to find the sweet spot. If you list the specs of your rifle, you might get some specific answers.

Lot's of loads for the 308 published on the forums. Just have to search them out. For 500-1000 yards 175gr bullets with powders like IMR 4064 seem to do quite well.

Out to 600. 168 gr. Berger hybrid, lapua brass, CCI br2 primer and 44 grs of varget.

Heavy bullets at 1000 but for me I will drop down to the 6 and 6.5 mm's for that.

Try this:

If I was just starting to develop a load for a new long distance shooter, I would start and stay with Sierra 175 grain match HPBT, Varget powder. Once you get a good combination, stay with it.

please buy you a good reloading manual, and don't get in hurry. reloading is a rewarding hobby
in itself. dangerous if you make a mistake. I know this will annoy some people but stay away from Internet loads. develop your loads slowly and watch for pressure. just because it works in one rifle it may not be safe in another.
