My wife freezes small portions of mince meat for our dogs in plastic zip-lock bags. She also freezes meat for human consumption in the same type of zip-lock bags.

To differentiate between the mince for the dogs, and the mince for humans , she wrote on the bags what the contents were.

I must say that I was a little put off when I picked up a bag of frozen meat which was labelled "Human mince". :o

Years ago there was a commercial that ran on TV for "Bonkers" candy.
The catch phrase was something like "Bonkers, Really bonks you out"
There was also a product called Bonkers liver flavored cat treats that came in a small colorful cardboard carton.
I was watching TV with my father in law one evening when the candy commercial came on. He proceeded to grab a carton of "bonkers", pour a handful of liver flavored cat treats in his hand and pop em in his mouth.
Needless to say he was "Really bonked out" alright. LOL
Gene passed many years ago, but that story still cracks me up every time I think about it.

When I lived in PA I did a lot of Civil War reenacting. We would sleep over a weekend on the Gettysburg battlefield and help with the tourists. One of my fellow reenactors tells this story....He was on Little Round Top explaining some of the battle of Gettysburg to a tourist. The tourist was in awe and asked this question.....How did they fight the battle with all these monuments in the way?

My old Dad used to tell the story of Norman Pike. Back in the 1930s Norman had worked on the road building crew in our New England town. He had a habit of starting work with a pocketful of brown sugar, which he would nibble on through the day. Once day they had a blasting job that needed only half a stick of dynamite, so he put the other half in his pocket. End of the day he found it had crumbled and mixed with his sugar. Dad said for months after he would hold a cigarette at arms' length to light it.
