Safe to build WSM on small shank?

All mine are push feed, I have a empty control feed head but have never done anything with it.

The action needs to have the recess for the crf bolt heads. The ejector sits in the action

I saw another forum member build one on a savage lightweight hunter action. Anyone have any thoughts on that?
