This is my 1st post other than my intro post. This site seems to be a great site and glad I was steered to it. I have seen the ad in magazines about Savage's 1 mile club with different configurations of their 338 Lapua. I happened upon a NIB 110 BA in 338 Lapua for $1479.00 plus tax.I was wondering how anyone with one liked it or should I go with something like the 112 in 338 ? I have not really read much about the 110 BA but do have a magazine article on the 112. Any yays or nays on it ? To me it has the cool factor and hope to shoot long range with something in the future. Thank you in advance for any opinions. Ed

I have one. My barrel was throwinging the first round or two. After that grouping well. I rebarreled and accuracy is great now. Only issue I had with mine. Other than that I like the gun. I bought mine used, almost new condition. Very comfortable to shoot. Recoil is easily managed with the muzzle brake on the BA. This is not the same brake I've seen on the HS models. Would love it if they had a folding chassis like my Mcrees.

Keep in mind if you don't reload that 338 LM ammo isn't cheap.
Bout $4 a round. I've shot over a mile with my 260. If your just plunking targets and don't need the knockdown power it's something to consider

You can buy a new savage stealth in 338 for a bit cheaper. Is the action trued on the rifle your looking at? It is on the new stealth. Compare and decide. Good luck.

I do not know.Box still factory sealed.Cheap ammo and 338 cannot be in the same sentence I realize. That is one of the reasons why I have not bought one yet.But I guess now that Trump is in,I can slow down on purchases.

I have the 338 Stealth and it is fantastic. If you reload you can shoot for under $2 a round. S&B are pretty decent (I shoot and then use brass to reload). It goes for about 2.50 a round. Compared to 300WM it is about a 1.00 per round more and reloaded about 50-70 cents more.

By the way, the Stealth not only shoots well, is lighter and has a recoil reducing stock. You will smile when you shoot one.

Did Savage drop the 110 BA ? Not on their website but in the 2016 hard copy catalog.
