Just got a Choate Tactical Stock for my Mod 10 FCP-K.
And was wondering if bedding job should be doune. There is nothing in front of the recoil lug ?!
is this O.K. ??

Honestly you don't need anything in front of the recoil lug. Your lug just needs to rest against the stock on the back side. If you look at bedding jobs you'll see everyone tapes off the sides, front and bottom of the lug to provide a gap. Your bedding just needs to ensure proper contact on the back of the lug with the stock. If you are worried you can bed it or can tighten the action screws while standing the rifle vertically. Tap it on the ground a couple times if you like then torque to spec. This stock on my 260 rem has been awesome. You'll like it I'm sure.
