Are them any good to eat or are they to tough? I'm from the bayou we will eat any thing. But I don't know about something that has to make a living on dust and rocks might be rough.

They are very eatable....if you look at the animals you can see they are fat and healthy...also keep in mind the desert is not as dry and barren as it looks.
