I have several 10/110 actions and all are Top Bolt Release. What makes a Bottom Bolt Release special?? Are these centerfeeds?? Or are some TBR guns also stagger feeds??
It appears the stocks are not interchangeable. Can a BBR stock be modified to fit a TBR??

The BBR is a relatively knew thing and is only been made for the Center Feed. The TBR was on all SF actions and all the early CF actions. The difference in the BBR action is the side of the action is not milled on the right side.

This is a top bolt release with the flat milled on the side for the sear/bolt release to fit. The BBR is round all the way to the rear baffle.

Any stock can be modified to work depending on skills.

Maybe I do have a BBR then. I was just going by the lever on top of the stock. Thinking that a BBR would be like a 700, where you push a lever under the stock.
Any pix of a BBR?

most savage stocks are the same either way, they won't make 2 different stocks, because they still make both bolt releases. it's the trigger guard and bottom metal that differ, i believe.
