Hey all,

My first post here and I come looking for some help.

Decided I wanted to buy my first rifle (only had handguns previously) and the Savage .17 rifles seem to fit nicely in my budget and needs.

However I am a left handed shooter which limits my options. I've pretty much decided on the 93R17 BTVSS.

What I really want though is the EVO stock version with that fluted barrel. My issue is that I don't see that avail with the left hand bolt.

Is there anyway to order that EVO Fluted version in Left either as a complete gun or as a separate part/ barrel? Or maybe this could be a custom build using a mix of aftermarket parts??

Any input or advice appreciated. Thanks!

Interesting point.
I just looked on the Savage web site. They list the GL, GLY, and BTVLSS in .22lr along with the GLV and BTVLSS in 17HMR. And there isn't even any lefty 17M2 rifles anymore.
I wish they would offer more in left hand rimfire rifles.

I believe Savage will custom build most anything for you. Give em a call, you can always say no if it's too much.

Yes, call the duty desk. The 93R17HMR is such a great accurate shooter.
