Hey everyone, new to long range shooter here. Just hit 1000 yards for the 2nd time today with my savage model 10 fcp-sr. Vortex pst 4-10x44mm mil dot scope. Federal gmm 175 gr ammo. Having a hard time getting g good DOPE. Every one I shoot with uses moa stuff, is there a consistant way to get smaller, more acurrate groups without guessing on elevation ?

Look into a ballistics program. Strelok is a good one, and that's what I use. Shooter is another, and Applied Ballistics is another. Judy go to your play store or app store and do a search and I'm sure you will find something. Enter in your DOPE and have fun.
