I have a 12 F/TR with a Precision Accutrigger. I talked to someone at Savage and sent it in. The trigger locked against the safety when the bolt went halfway down. It apparently slips the notch in the sear.

I know hunting season is fast approaching. Does anyone know the approximate turnaround time for Savage on something like this? I don't want to pester the service department.

I had a trigger issue with my BMag a couple of years ago. I think the turn around time was about 10days door to door?

Not long 7-10 days

I don't hunt, just commenting on possible delay in repair.

Thanks for the estimates.

Had it back in my hands in 10 days.

BTW- has anyone noticed the American Indian is no longer part of the Savage logo? There was a replacement logo on the box and on a decal they sent with the rifle.

That's called a "half-drop", pretty common when they are adjusted light. Did you ever try and turn-up the pull weight?

Hunting for meat, I want a 7 to 8 lb rifle with a 2.5 - 3.5 lb trigger. Unless I'm at a bench shooting pdogs or some other vermin.
