I just got a F-class 6mm-Br , done some great testing with loads, I have it down to about 1.5" group at 500 yards which I think is amazing ! , The only problem I have at time is the gun will throw flyers at times, seems to do it when I start shooting , or after the gun has traveled in the truck a while. Anyways what I do is undo the stock and tourque it back down and make sure the recoil Lug is against the stock, then it will shoot good again with no flyers. I was wondering if bedding the recoil lug would fix it? I also had to undo the stock several times, I am unsure if I am using the correct torque settings, I am using what I found on the internet, 30 Front-30 middle, and then every 5lbs up to 30 on the rea to see what shoots best., Any help would be apprciated.

I have the same gun same cal, all I can do is shoot a few ideas at you I have no fliers out to 600 i shoot 3.5 and have shot 2.4 inch to 600 in 5 shot groups or more first do you have a top quality scope, I have tested 3 scopes T 36 Weaver, Burris 8x32x50 black diamond and Leupold Competition 45x and the Leupold holds the best, next is I also found a neck bushing die helps also. Good luck, 1.5 at 500 is great good shooting.

Sounds to me like you have a bedding problem, i would bed the action as well as the recoil lug area. As far as torque sequence just hand tight is fine, if a gun is that picky on screw torque it has a bedding problem.

Thanks for all the help, Quality Scope, had a 45X leupold and did not like within a week, got a NightForce 12-42x56, no issues there, probably the bedding, seems to shoot great sometimes and then others it's on or off, What will the bushing die do? I have Forster Ultra 2-Die Set 6mm BR (Bench Rest) and a Forster Precision Plus Bushing Bump Neck Sizer Die 6mm BR (Bench Rest) ,
