recoil pad removable on medalist

Has anyone removed the recoil pad on a bc medalist. I want to add some weight to the back of the stock to balance out my gun. I cant find screws so I assume that its glued on. Just not sure what the best way is to go about getting it off.

sure there are not small slits that let you into screws? if there are phillips screw driver and a touch of grease os other rubber lube is needed.

OK found the screws they were hidden pretty well. Got both out and it still acts like its glued on.
