Hi, this is roockie shooter from SW-VA....name is James and I am all exited about LRS and what else is connected to it.
Just signed up here and like the large sum of knowledge and interest that exists here on these forums.
Been shooting rifle and hand guns for a while, but serious rifle shooting just now got into my brain!!
Fascinated by accuracy and by people that can shoot a fly off an egg at 600 yards...haha.
Just got an RPR 8 month ago and changing it to 6.5CM, Dont tell my wife> PLEASE< but also got me a Savage LRP in 243, picking it up tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Rem 700 SPS 16" in 223 is also in the arsenal....that should do it for any LRS stuff...I hope!!
So, some equipment to work with but lots to learn.
Hopefully I can tech down the road my 12 year old son how to use these shooting sticks.
I do custom gun leather as hobby and have to many other hobbies according to my dear lovely wife!!
Looking forward to digg in deep...
