Savage 11 switch barrel question

Could a savage model 11 chambered in 243 be re barreled to a WSM caliber or is the shank to small how could I tell?

I believe you can order the WSM in small shank, standard is the large shank for WSM but as long as they know it is small and make it that no problems.

So I believe, I could be wrong so don't order the barrel just yet!
