I may be looking for another scope, i am presently using a Mueller 8x32x44 scope on my model 12fv in 223, the scope is an excellent deal and clarity is great, but the eye relief is very critical, i have looked thru some nikons at the range and they dont seem to have the eye relief issue, there was a topic awhile back about a Primary arms scope that Dakkar was praising for around 230 dollars, but cant seem to dig up the model, and is that model as clear as the nikons and is the eye relief better than the mueller. i do like the fine crosshairs on the mueller, don't want to get into the thick crosshairs, been there

Primary Arms 4-14. They have 3 different reticle options I believe.

The higher you go in magnification the shorter the eye relief is going to be. No getting around that unless you want to spend big bucks.

This right here ^^^^^. You can not compare a 16, 20 or 24X with a 32 with regaurds to eye relief (Exit Pupil?). If you live in the south, anything over 20 power is useless most of the year anyway.

Here is a link to Sightrons scope in 8-32 x 56 but the eye relief is much better. 900 or less

For an absolute STEAL, Natchezss has the Weaver Tactical 3-15 Model #80363 for about $600 right now.
