Ever since Tannerite first hit the market several years ago I've been saying someone would eventually use it in a homemade bomb or IED for a terror attack. Well, seems it's finally happened. Wouldn't be surprised if the BATFE moves quickly to ban or regulate it and other binary explosives.

Wonder how anyone could get it to light off without shooting it? I watched a Myth Busters episode (yeah, I know) and they were unsuccessful with everything they tried other than the centerfire projectile.
The article you reference seems like the author's attempt at fear-mongering to me.

False Flag to ban Tanaright
Dean ...and begin marshal law in the commie states.
It is possible, I suppose, that whoever built the bomb used, among other things, Tannerite. If so, they would likely find Tannerite in the residue whether it burned or not.

I don't care if it is banned since I make my own.

Where I live, nobody hears it. I shot an oil drum full of my stuff last year and never heard any complaints (and yes, it did go off as desired).

With a little knowledge, tanneright can be very destructive. I don't see how they were able to sell it to begin with.
I personally have never bought any, but know several who have.
It's unbelievable what can be found in a families home and use as a destructive device. Again, just a little knowledge.
Timothy McVey, well that name says it all. Enough said.

Sorry, no video. I had my head down to try to miss all the sticks, small rocks and stuff coming my way. I think I was a little too close (since I am a Poor Shot). And it was LOUD!!

As Bert Gummer would say from the movie Tremors: "The right household chemicals in the proper proportions."

Tremors...what a classic! That movie has it all, Kevin Bacon, cute girl in her underwear, Reba Mcintyre, lots of guns and explosions. Couldn't ask for more....
