Absolute Zero Sniper Match- Season Finale

Match went really well in the morning. I think the sun got to me in the afternoon as a few mental mistakes on the later stages dropped me into 10th out of 60+ shooters.

This stuff is a blast and the new in depth stages on this coast definitely challenge any shooter. I believe next year I'm going to be up for the points race as I've only shot this range twice and both times I had most of my issues on the back side of the range.

My XCaliber barrel spun by Jim at Apache Gun Works continues to put rounds where it counts as long as I'm doing my part. I think the biggest thing I could do on these matches is slow down just a hair!

Hope you all enjoy the footage. Closest targets were at 180-200yards. Majority were 400-600yds and a fair amount at 800-1000yds.

Update: I was reviewing the score card and realized they only had 7 out of 10 hits on the Rock Stage. I was positive I had 8 out of 10 with my last shot on the 1000. I sent the video to the match director and he confirmed it as a hit bumping me from 13th to 10th. This will be very good for my standings within the region.

Still need to tighten up my game. I came out strong in the morning and fell off in the afternoon. Need to hydrate better for the next one. Double header next weekend with the Guardian on Saturday and the Virginia Precision Rifle Club monthly on Sunday. I have about 150rds to load up.... Going to be some long nights this week....

Get you some glucose tabs and carry them with you...eat a couple when you start wearing down.
