I was at a range and talking to a guy who shoots the 6brx. I asked him how he formed his brass. He said a guy he buys brass from uses water to form his cases. If you are a 6BR site member you have read about it, but still great information. With a little ingenuity anyone could do this to any wildcat. Hornady makes the dies if you need them. Years ago I used hydraulics to remove Berdan primers. When I resized the cases I saw that I had changed the dimensions considerably. Stands to reason it would be very effective. As we learned in middle school. You cant compress a liquid. So it stands to reason that Hydraulic forming is an effective way to do it.

My BIL is hydraulic forming for his 6 Dasher. He says He only expects 900 rounds peak accuracy out of his barrel (???) so He doesn't want to waste any of it fireforming. He decided to go this route rather than having a second rifle for fireforming. Although He does do the second rifle thing for His 6 BR.
