Anybody have the screw size of the Williams front and rear iron sights on the Savage Hog Hunter? I am looking to putting the irons back on but lost the screws.
I know they are 6/48 thread, but unsure of their length. Judging by Williams Gunsmith Screw set: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/454524/williams-gunsmith-screw-kit-steel-black-pack-of-122 I assume they are .350 and .285?
I have extra scope base screws that I'm not using, they are also 6/48 but too long. Any way I can make them shorter?
