Sorry, Newbie question, but I checked the FAQ. I have an extra Black Synthetic Accustock for my 10 FLCP (LH) in .223. I'm contemplating buying a LH Model 11 in .260 Remington. Would that action/ barrel fit into that extra FLCP stock? Thanks.

It might. If the new .260 is bottom bolt release, center feed, it will fit. You may also need bottom metal for it. You will also need a different recoil lug designed for the Accustock. You might get away with grinding the existing recoil lug shorter so it fits alright.

Just did a similar swap. Used an Accustock off a 10 FCP-SR in .308 to replace the stock on a Model 11 in 243 Win. The recoil lug had to be shortened and narrowed to fit the aluminum bedding rail. Grinder was used for this, the I painted the ground areas after I had a fit that allowed the bottom of the receiver to mate with the bedding rail.

i used the bottom metal for the Accustock that had the magazine latch on the magazine well metal. I had to use the trigger guard off the original 243 stock because it had a bottom bolt release as opposed to the 10's side bolt release. I made the 4 round magazine work by trimming the plastic latch tab off with a hack saw. The magazine then locked into the 10's metal mag well metal.

The main thing to check before you start this project is that the bottom metal stock screw dimension is the same. 4.40 I think.
