Hey all,
I recently found this forum recently after looking around for a while trying to find a decent online community. I bought a Savage 111 (30-06) a few years back, wanting to get into hunting, but never did much with it as life took its own path. Now that things have settled down, I am looking more at getting my feet wet with hunting. I live in Colorado so that makes things a little easier with hunting grounds only a short drive away.
I have a total of 6 firearms (2 pistols, a shot gun and 3 rifles) in varying calibers and have a number of different training classes under my belt. I've been involved with firearms for about 6 years now. I don't know much about the long range side of things besides a few educational youtube videos and an multi-part instructional DVD. I am looking into Deer/Elk hunting for the 2017 season so I am going to try and get the necessary equipment and some long range training before then. I have gotten my younger brother involved in some long range stuff so we are going to do this together. I look forward to learning and interacting within this community.
I know I'm wrong handed, but yes, most of my weapons are left handed by choice  .
Thanks everyone!
