I was just looking through the Alliant site, and compared a 225 gr Fusion bullet over 52 gr 2000MR in 338 federal and it looks good.
The case only has 57.5 gr of capacity, but as I understand it 2000MR is a ball powder.
2625 fps out of that round is pretty darn impressive.
Compared it to the factory 338 Winmag at 2800 fps with 50% more powder capacity.
