This 110 was the first centerfire rifle I ever bought.
It started life new back in 1994 as a 110 FP in 7mm RemMag.

I decided to under take it as a little project (that started this winter) - it's now mostly complete, I just need to decide what color Cerakote to use on the receiver & bbl and if I want to do both or just the receiver.....decisions decisions.

Here are the specs -
CBI 26" match bbl, 7mm Rem (I know, boring) 1:9 twist, heavy sporter contour - I had it threaded for a YHM QD mount.
NSS recoil lug & bbl nut
Tactical Works bolt handle
SSS fluted the bolt
Rifle Basix Savage 1 trigger
B&C Medalist stock
NF pic rail
Warne Maxima rings
Burris XTR II 4x20

This is my first attempt at building off the Savage action, and have to say it's very easy and kinda fun. Looking forward to seeing how it shoots.

Looks great. Interested in the Cerakote...do you do it yourself?

I don't - theres a couple local shops that will do a barreled action for $120.

Have had a few of my shotguns done and like how they turned out.

Very nice! And in the classic 7mag! I got the CBI lite varmint in 280AI. I wish I woulda gotten the heavy sporter. It does shoot really well though.
I look forward to seeing your range report!
