View Full Version : Savage 12FV Build is Complete

Based on a .223 Savage 12FV purchased during the sale in late June. I fitted a Bell & Carlson Medalist A2 stock with CDI DBM. I sent the entire rifle to Jeff at CDI for inletting and he did a wonderful job.

As an answer to jpx2rk, it is a 1 MOA rifle with the stock Savage barrel and my handloads. Definitely not 1/2 MOA right now.

I am shooting 69 grain Sierra Tipped Matchkings with 25 grains of Varget. I shot steel to 500 yards on Saturday, but no pics taken. 6" round plate at 500 yards was a reliable hit.
