What Scope Power would be the preferred on a Savage 93R17-BTVSS?

Prefered for what? Shooting squirrels at 100 yards or targets at 100 feet.

Just shooting anything that comes up. Squirrels, crows, turtles, and targets at different yardages. I have a 50 yd. range at my house and shoot there some. The main reason I asked was to see what power scope most people use on this type .17HMR rifle. I have a Bushnell Elite 3200 4X12X40 AO and a Weaver V-16 not in use at this time. Can use either on this Savage. Just looking for others opinions and comments. Thanks in advance....

I am running a Weaver 6.5-20x44 (40/44 series) in a DNZ mount... I love it. It's stupid accurate... Not great for squirrels up close, but no bunny within 200 yards is safe...! (and I can tell you it's eye color before they pop!)

I would use the Bushnell, mainly due to the AO feature. A lot of long range scopes are set to 100yds parallax and if you ever see a critter up close (like 25-30yds) or target shooting close, the target is VERY blurry.

For all intents and purposes, a 3-9x40 should be all that you need. More power is nice but in all honesty, the lower end of the magnification range gets used the vast majority of the time. Something with a parallax adjustment, whether it be side focus or AO, is always a plus. Everyone has different ideas as to what the "best" scope to use is but for me, I'll take a scope with better quality glass over higher magnification every time.
