I didn't expect much out of the XP Bushnell scope but I thought it would last longer than 4 shots lol. After 4 shots at the range this morning the reticle fell inside the lense. Not even going to bother trying to replace under warranty. It's only a $40 dollar scope. But I am going to contact Savage and Bushnell so they can check their quality control.

Funny thing is, I've got one on a 3006 that's been going for 5 yrs now and holds zero perfect. My little cousin uses the gun and Beats it to death and still don't break it

Let me add that even though the optic failed, the rifle itself shot awesome. Figger'd since we were there we might as will shoot a few more rounds through it. Can't wait for the new scope to come in.

I have one that came on a used 22-250 11 THXP I picked up for a song. It works great for just shooting paper and kicking around plinking in broad daylight with the grandkids. Once it was adjusted it has held dead nuts zero at 100 which is all I have asked of it. So far it works just fine as a knock around and is accurate enough with hand loads to easily keep up with some really expensive rigs. In short just an average Savage sporter that does what it's supposed to and came set up with an inexpensive optic that works.
