Having done some research, it seems the recommended torque for the 10-11-12 series synthetic stock front action screw setting should be 30-35(with some as high as 40) inch pounds, and the rear starting at snug and tightening a bit at a time until groups come together. Once you go too far, the groups will start to open.
My s-i-l re-torqued my 12FV from the factory setting(which was much less) to forty front and rear and my last few groups weren't as good. I have reset to 30 front and 20 rear, haven't shot yet, but hope to in the next couple of days.
For those 12FV owners that have played with this, is this a good starting point?

Honestly never ever torqued any stock, just tighten them down. Mountains and mole hills my friend.

it only maters if you also weigh your loads. If you charge by volume, the screws can be tightened "just snug"

Yep, that was one of my research findings.
