Can someone tell me the differences between the 10T, 10TR and 10 FCP-SR?
I read that the "new" FCP-SR is different from the "old" one? Any truth to that? If so what are the different SKU numbers?

I know the 10T is a "Cabelas Exclusive" however is it the same as the TR?

Savage's website doesn't even list the 10T or 10TR, only the 10 FCP-SR

From what I can see the TR and the FCP-SR are threaded, TR is 20" the FCP can be 20" or 24". FCP comes with 10 round magazine. New FCP does not readily accept AICS style mags like the previous version. 10T is the exclusive, 24" non-threaded barrel. I believe the TR is discontinued, but I may be wrong. I am planning on getting the 10T, it goes on sale this Thursday, $70 off.

I know up here in Canada we can find 10tr in 20"# 19984 and 24" # 19983 in some shops for around $700 cdn.
Here is a link that was started awhile back when Savage brought these out as LE/MIL only rifles http://www.savageshooters.com/showthread.php?25377-Savage-10-TR-details

I believe the 10T is a threaded barrel. It has the smooth nut on it. I don't own one but looked at one closely as I was interested.

10T has a recessed, hunting friendly crown. No thread. 24" varmint contour barrel. 5 round DBM. I've got a 6.5 CM that shoots sub 3/4 MOA at 100 with hornady factory 143 eld-X rounds.

Pretty good all around package, especially when cabelas puts it on sale for $530 from time to time. Also has 0 MOA rail already installed. I'm taking it out for a 600 yard test run this weekend, and 1000+ in two weeks. Very excited.
