Took my new 12BR in 308 out to break it in last Saturday, loaded a bunch of 155,168,175 and 190 SMKs vaguer and 4895, kept coal at 2.800 for all which is 0.010 off the rifling.
should have checked scope alignment, crosshairs were crooked and to far back for proper eye relief and even with low rings scope sat to high for any type of cheek weld. But..
every 5 shot group was 1" or under even with the 190smk, not bad for a 1-12 twist. All shot at 100 yards.

got the scope straight and added a strap on cheek rest that makes everything line up perfect, will take it back out in a few weeks to retry it.
Not real happy with the trigger, it's still as is out of the box and a little heavy and not as smooth as I expected.

Does anyone make a good trigger for this and what have you guys used for bedding?

love the gun, for right out of the box it's probably the best shooter I have for anything but 22lr.

Trigger is adjustable and it should be the target so down to (8 oz?). I don't know for sure what they come set at, I think its 1.5 lb so you don't get taken by surprise.

IMR, H or AA 4895? (AA may be 2495 now I think about it)
