Folks, I just discovered this forum, and hope to dialogue with Savage collectors, learning as I go. I recently purchased an 1895 Savage carbine, produced in 1895, and am just starting to drill down through online resources in hopes to learn more about its value. Unlike the 1899, this model seems to have few details available on-line; so I hope that perhaps through Q&A on this site I can learn a great deal.
