Savage 12VLP DBM Questions

This is my first post here, so I apologise if this has already been asked - I did try to search but didn't find what I was after.

I am considering buying a Savage 12VLP in .308 primarily for target shooting at distances anywhere from 100-900m.

I would like to hear from other VLP owners on what they think of their VLP's in terms of accuracy and build quality.

Also, what is the magazine capacity for the VLP .308? The Savage website says 4 rounds, but is that 4 in the clip plus one in the chamber, or 4 including one in the chamber?

I have the 112 vlp 25/06 and it is just over .5 @ 200 so I would say the accuracy is there, in all likely hood it will out shoot your ability as mine does to me.
Usually it is 4 in mag, one in chamber unless otherwise stated in the manual.
