Just bought a 12 benchrest

Found a brand new in the box savage 12 benchrest for trade on calguns last week, guy traded me for an old kimber 1911 I had.
its 308 which I'm setup for reloading already so that was nice. Can't pick it up till next week, 10 day wait in California.
just ordered a new scope base for it so it will be here when I pickup the gun.

anyone have any tips on reloading for it? Do they like bullet jump or in the rifling?

have some good loads with barges that work very well in my other guns, this is my first savage center fire rifle.

Every rifle will be a rule unto itself, so you just have to see what it likes.

The only thing I will give is that it has a 13 twist. 168 grain or less would be my starting point. Good luck
