Sent a Choate Tactical stock for my left hand Savage 12 FLV to CDI for bottom metal inletting and installation.
I had a few questions before I was ready to send the stock in and they were very helpful and friendly and answered all of my questions. I also called once and talked to both Jeff and Pam and they were very pleasant folks to talk to. Found out I needed to also send in the bolt for some work to function with the external mag setup and the work was done perfectly.
Got the stock back in what seemed to be about ten days which I felt was REALLY quick and of course, everything looked perfect. As I did not want to send the entire rifle in for the work Jeff told me that I would have to shorten the action screw to keep it from dragging on the bolt head. Took off about .08 or so and it all fits up nice and snug. Also purchased two 10 round mags at the same time.
Took the rifle to the range and shot several full mags through the rifle and everything worked PERFECTLY.
