I'm J, living in Devon, UK. Currently do a bit of deer stalking and bunny bashing along with some range time. Decided to buy something to become a more proficient target shooter and have ended up with a Savage 10FP in .223 with a heavy varmint barrel, made between 2002-2008 best I can figure out (G series serial) It has a blind magazine and lightweight stock, both of which I'd like to change on a budget. However, being in the UK, we don't have access to quite the range and low cost parts that you guys do over in the US, so I'll be figuring this out slowly. The project is for this to become a range only target rifle while I learn the craft of precision shooting and can justify something for going longer than 600m, although it might end up being used on the occasional fox.
