223 Wylde is a chamber spec not a caliber spec. It is intended to shoot both 5.56 and .223 Rem accurately. You size your brass to 5.56x45 or .223 Rem specs, nothing Wylde about it.

I have one. It's a 25in 7tw heavy varmint from Bison. It shoots better than me. I put it on an Axis and am currently loading 80gr amax. Wylde will give you a small amount of freebore. What you should do is Google 223 reamers, there's a chart that will show the differences.

Wylde chambers were designed for NRA Xcourse High Power on AR-15's. It handles bullets from 68-80 grains mag length and longer with adequate accuracy for High Power. It is suitable for bolt guns but not optimal for any one type of bullet. My Savage 11 actioned F-TR rifle has a Xcaliber 1:7 twist 5R heavy barrel with a Wylde chamber and shoots 80 gr match bullets jumping 0.015" very accurately. I use the rifle for Mid Range F-TR matches only.
