Has anyone cut into the bottom of the butt on a fcp hs stock? How much material do I have before I hit the hollow portion?

You won't be able to do it without filling the hollow area. I have cut several of them for adjustable cheek hardware and use bondo to fill the hollow cavity. I'm sure cutting to bottom would require the same.

Yep, It was late and I neglected the fill. It is thinner on the sides than the top and bottom. I responded to your other post.

I called HS precision...they tell me I have about 1.5" of material between the bottom of the stock and the hollow point inside.

The salesmen lied...it's not hollow at all. There is foam inside and the shell is about 3/8".

He didn't lie. It is hollow, in that there is an open cavity in it. Yes, the sides are about 3/8 think with a super dense foam like material. Top is about an inch. I thought bottom was about the same but 1.5" doesn't sound too far off either.
