Getting back into shooting. I had a custom target rifle but sold it years ago because there's no organized 1,000 yard benchrest in Texas.
Just got 2 new (to me) Savages; a 116 in 7mm Remington Magnum and a "hybrid" long magnum action in flat black with a take-off 112 stainless barrel in .300 Ultra Mag. It's a barreled action only for now. The laminated stock was cracked, so I got it at a good price, with brass and dies. Can't wait to go hog hunting. Will leave the 7mm as is for while and build the other into a custom hunting rifle.
Anyway, looking forward to learning here.
