Would like first hand info from fellow Savage 11/111 LRH 6.5 Creedmoor shooters who might have upgraded their factory stock with one that has an adjustable cheek piece.

Thanks In Advance

I had a Savage Model 11 that I fooled around with shooting F-TR midrange in 223 with mixed results. I decided to get serious and upgrade the stock and barrel. A X-caliber Savage bull barrel with a 1:7 twist 5R rifling at 30" along with a Pro-Varmit stock was my choice. The stock has the adjustable cheek piece and it works well. The adjustment is not as easy as some but once adjusted I have never had it shift on me. I had the magazine well filled with wood and some lead, and extra weight added to the forend with lead, all held in place with acrylic cauck. Also had pillars added. The rifle now weighs 18# and looks great and shoots F-TR like a dream. The stock is of high quality and the adjustable cheek piece works just as well as the ones on my other rifles, just not the same way. Best of luck.
