On page 1 You mentioned Savage 111 FNCS.

These come chambered in 25/06Rem, 270Win, 30/06Spf, 300WinMag, & 7mmRemMag.

All are long action(as designated by 111).

All are "Small Shank"

Large Shank models are made in WSM, RSAUM, RUM, 338LM, Your probably right about the 110BA 300WM?, and Target actions..."I Think!"

edit: l'm sure geargrinder is right about the 375Ruger. Oops :-(

Standard caliber long action or short- small shank
Some not all magnums large
All target actions ( red blade accu trigger) large.

Serial number no help finding what size, action bolt spacing means nothing for shank size.
This, and if it's 338 lapua you can count on it being large shank.
