Manufacture date?? Model 24 .22/.410

I'd like to know the approximate manufacturing date and any other details available for this rifle. The only markings I could find is a Patent #2259397.

I contacted Savage Arms directly and they weren't able to provide me any information on this older model.

Any information and/or advice will be much appreciated.
