got my new mag tonight on UPS, been on BO from Cabelas for a month or better
got to say it looks nice and the 17 Hmr ammo feeds well into it, but have not shot it yet to see how they cycle from the mag
Now unlike the A17 and A22 mags which look identical except the print on the rear metal plate. the BC A17 Mag has a smaller feed mouth at the front end to closer fit the 17 Hmr ammo contour, but when I tried to put 22 Mag ammo in it the smaller end kind of hung up on the 22 WMR ammo with it not being necked down and the larger bullet. the ammo would go in and I filled it up just fine but I am sure they would not cycle and jam right below the metal lips of the mag and not feed right. I am sure a little filing on the metal top would allow it to work fine but I didn't feel like screwing up my new $35 mag first thing :)

talked to Butler creek today and as of right now he said they have no plan to change the top so the 22 Mag will feed thru it right, that is not what I was told a week ago
got another one ordered and if and when it gets here I am filing the edge off so the 22 WMR will fit thru the slot better

going to try this one in my A17 this weekend

waiting got the better of me and I did a little filing tonight and the 22 WMR ammo loads fine in the BC A17 25rd mag, guess I will see of it works in both the A17 and A22 this weekend

Much to my surprise Cabelas delivered the two I bought back on the 22nd of June. Other than loading them up and hand cycling them I've yet to actually use them out in the field. I must say, I'm pretty impressed with their quality and based on the amount I played with them at home, I think they're going to work out well but only time in the field will tell.

I will say this, they are 100% easier to load than the factory mag, that's for sure!

did not have time to shoot last weekend :) so I did not get a chance to try the 17 and 22 ammo in both my A17 and A22 Rifles out of the same mag in both rifles after the filing of the top lips of the mag

Have seen several in stock around the net, got another from cabelas on the way ( be here tomorrow)and bought another one off a different sight for $5 cheaper, going to leave the 2 new ones alone for the A17 and use the filed one for my A22

Any updates on feeding of these magazines in the A22?

sorry, only tried it once and it didn't feed well and jammed in the A22, will work on the top a little more and try again

I saw a UTube video , they tried the Butler Creek mag on an A22mag, the 17 cal opening was too small so they opened it a bit and it worked fine then. Sorry, I have no idea which video it was, its been a month or so.

I have one for the A17 and it's easier to load and lock into place then the stock savage mag.
