I am going to replace the stock on my MK II FV-SR and would like to hear from those who have done it. What model stock did you get? My main use for the rifle will be precision shooting on bench, sitting and prone. I am choosing between the Pro-Varmint and Thumbhole models. Inputs, possible with photos will be much appreciated. THank you

I built this Savage 6mm BR with a Boyd's Pro Varmint stock. I use it for 600 Bench Rest and I've won the past two matches with it, so it must work OK; however, I don't consider myself a BR stock guru.

I built a .223 F/TR gun with a McMillan stock costing almost 6 times as much as the Boyd's but I like the Boyd's better. I suspect my next stock purchase will be a Boyd's too.

That's a nice looking stock. I guess you had it finished somewhere as I don’t remember having seen that on the Boyd website

That's the zombie hunter laminate. It's newer from boyds.
