ballistic software

looking for for a newer software, i use to use an old ver that was dos based, and it does not run on my new windows computer, i was looking at the G7 ballistic software, any comments or suggestions, mainly doing click charts for long range varmint hunting

Not really "up" on Windows compatible stuff.
I can tell you Bryan's Applied Ballistics is top notch. For the mobile world, I love Shooter, by Sean Kennedy.
As Lutz updates info, so does Sean.

EDIT: Personally I use Shooter on my phone, but JBM is a great program for a computer based setup.

I would would suggest mil dot ballistics but the guy never answers my email. Great if you have a scope that is listed in his app but sucks if you don't.

I too use this on the computer, Strelok Pro on the phone.

JBM works just fine for us, but they all require some tweeking.
And tomorrow they might need tweeking again lol.
