Looking for stock suggestions

I have a savage 111 300 winmag. I don't like the cheesy plastic stock it came with and was looking for suggestions on aftermarket stocks. I'm not looking to break the bank but I understand that these things are not cheap either. Thanks.

My opinion of Boyds has dropped lately, but they're a good place to start.

Go to Stocky's and look at the Bell & Carlson Medalist Classic. I just put one on my 338 and I'm extremely pleased with everything about it so far.

I like the laminated stock for looks and they should hold up well for movement.

Top of the class of course is the composites with the bedding block.
