trying to figure out which model 12 this is

I bought this a few months ago and still havent been able to nail down the original sub model (f-class, target, bench rest, etc). It has the fluted barrel, is a single shot, and is chambered in 6.5x284 norma. The only 2 single shot model 12's on the savage site are the bench rest and the f-class and they both have smooth barrels. it had already been modified with a rifle basix trigger and a boyds stock. can anyone help me out?
