I have messed with hydro dip on about 6 guns. One turned out great, two are ok, and the rest I gave up and painted them. I am done jacking around with it. Seemed to be to many variables to get good consistent dips. I may give this a try. http://www.gunskins.com

Yeah they sell camo vinyl wraps... not a bad option either. Here is their main website - www.camo4u.com

Any down side to the vinyl wraps, such as trapping moisture/rust, etc??

We have used a few of their kits over the years and all have worked great. Muddy girl and realtree are our favorite dip kits to get.

I'm with snowgetter1. I did a few and have just gone back to painting them. I consider myself pretty handy but these dip kits are tough. Prepping the stock properly, activator, water temperature, dip angle, there are so many variables. I've had to redip 2 guns that didn't turn out just right. Even the shops that do it here locally still end up with bubbles, etc. That's why I gave up on it. It's a fun project but the results can be frustrating. Maybe others have had better experiences but that is mine. Let us know how you make out if you move forward

I've tried it, but found it to take a lot of practice.
